About Us 

My Style Companion is proud to offer a fast, efficient and hassle-free delivery service. Choose which items you want to buy and decide where you'd like them sent, and we'll take care of everything, making sure your items are carefully packaged and arrive quickly. We accept all credit card payments using a trusted payment provider. 

Delivery

My Style Companion uses Royal Mail for all on-line deliveries within the UK. My Style Companion will aim to dispatch all orders within 2 – 3 working days by Royal Mail First Class (UK Only) post and if this is not possible we will contact you within 24hours to let you know and advise you on the next available day for posting. Royal Mail aim to deliver your First Class item the next working day after posting. We do not dispatch orders on Saturday or Sunday. My Style Companion do not accept liability for delivery delays by Royal Mail outside our control, including industrial action or a disruption to the service however, we will keep you informed of any delays that we are know about. You will receive an email from My Style Companion confirming the dispatch of your order.

Back Orders 

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Delivery Schedule 

The availability of an item refers to the length of time it takes before the item is available for us to send to you. For example, if we have an item in stock it will be dispatched within 2 – 3 working days.  In other cases, we may have to order the item from our suppliers and it may take longer for us to be able to send you your order

Shipping and Handling 

All orders purchased from My Style Companion are charged at varying rates according to charges from Royal Mail, Parcelforce (UK) or DHL. These charges are based on weight, size and shipping destination.  Delivery charges are non-refundable.

Returns

If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason please contact us to arrange an exchange or refund. It is our policy to issue cash/credit refunds for all products returned in perfect condition, unopened and within original packaging within 14 days of purchase.Please note in-shoe  or shoe storage products cannot be returned or exchanged once they have been removed from any protective packaging or used. We will gladly accept your return or exchange of unused if they are returned to us in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase.

Returns can be arranged by email or by calling us. Please only return products which have been pre-authorised by one of our sales staff to ensure we can handle your return efficiently and effectively.

Any cost of returning items to us is the customer's responsibility. As the products will be your responsibility until returned back to mystylecompanion.com we advise our customers for their own protection to use a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

We will refund you the cost of any goods you wish to return (excluding original delivery charge). You must take reasonable care to ensure that any goods being returned are received by mystylecompanion.com and are not damaged in transit. Should you fail to do this, or send them at our cost, we will charge you the direct cost of the return. 

Credit Card Security All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

My Style Companion Ltd do not disclose buyers' information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item.

Ordering

Purchasers must be over the age of 18. My Style Companion only provide wardrobe services for women. Personal shopping is available for both women and men.

If you purchase a product or service from us, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiry date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fulfil your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

All personal services must be paid for in advance of the service. Once your payment has been processed, My Style Companion will contact you via phone or email within 3 working days to arrange an appointment with you (does not apply to Gift Certificates). Please ensure you provide at least one method of contact and ensure your details are correct. Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to arrange an appointment with one of our stylists or shoppers.

Organising Your Appointment

Personal Shopping is only conducted between Mondays – Fridays, 9am – 6pm or at the personal shopper’s discretion. We do not provide personal shopping appointments at the weekend or during other busy times such as Christmas or school holidays as we cannot provide the best service possible for our clients during these busy times. Special requests for weekend, bank holiday or evening appointments may have an additional charge of up to £50 at our discretion.

Wardrobe Services can be provided between Mondays – Saturdays, between the hours of 9am – 7pm however Saturday appointments are limited and carry an additional £25 charge at our discretion. Special requests for weekend, bank holiday or evening appointments may have an additional charge of up to £50 at our discretion.

Geographical Location of Stylists

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that they are both in a geographic area serviced by My Style Companion and in a position to receive the services purchased. The purchaser must be in a position to receive the services purchased and expect to allow a Style Companion access to their wardrobes, clothing and accessories wherever they may be located in the home. If the purchaser is unable for any reason to allow their Style Companion access to their wardrobes, clothes or accessories it will deemed to be a cancellation, however My Style Companion may provide an exchange of services at their discretion.

Currently My Style Companion operate within the North West region of the UK, mainly Cheshire, Manchester, Liverpool, Wirral, North Wales, Chester, North Wales, Lancashire and Merseyside as well as some areas in Staffordshire. This list is intended as a guide only, so please contact us to check if we provide services in your area, as we recruit new stylists and personal shoppers regularly through our training programme.

My Style Companion cannot accept responsibility for those booking or purchasing services online without checking with My Style Companion if that area can be covered. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to make these checks before purchase.

Travel Expenses:

Travel expenses for our stylists may be extra if the client is based outside of areas covered by our stylists. These are charged at 40p per mile return journey. The agreed amount is to be paid to the stylist on the day. If you are buying any of our personal styling services as a Gift Voucher you can pay for the travel expenses yourself - please inform us if you wish to do so at the time of booking by emailing us or calling us. We will make every endeavour to match you with a stylist based close to you if possible to keep travel expenses to a minimum.

If My Style Companion is unable to fulfil an order due to geographic location, a refund will be offered subject to our cancellation terms.

Rescheduling Appointments

If for any reason you need to change the date of your appointment, My Style Companion are happy to reorganise appointments to suit you within 1 month of the original appointment, however this is subject to availability so there may be a wait involved. If you need to reschedule, there is no charge for up to 2 reschedules, however payment must have been provided in full to reschedule.

If you call to reschedule, it would be great if you could have your diary to hand to get another date booked in. If you reschedule your appointment more than twice, you will then be subject to a £25 rescheduling fee for every additional reschedule.

In the unlikely event that we should ever need to, My Style Companion reserve the right to reschedule appointments with clients. Should this unlikely event occur, My Style Companion will make every attempt to find another appointment that will suit the client equally as well.

Cancellations

We will deem you to have made a cancellation if you fail to confirm and / or attend a pre-arranged appointment OR inform us you no longer wish to have an appointment with us anymore. If you do have to cancel your appointment for any reason at all, please try to let us know as soon as possible as you may incur charges.

Cancellations of appointments, bookings or purchases are subject to a £10 administration fee from the time of purchase, up until 14 days before the date of appointment. 

14 days or less prior to the appointment date cancellation will incur a £50 charge.

Cancellations of appointments or bookings less than 7 days in advance are charged at 50% of the price of the service, plus any travel or accommodation expenses that have been incurred.

Client Profile Form

For Style Consultations, Wardrobe Consultations, Personal Shopping services and Online Personal Shopper, you may be asked to complete a client profile form to assist our stylists and ensure that on the day of your appointment, you get the most from the time with your personal stylist. Upon confirmation of your appointment, when payment has been made in full, you will receive instructions on how to complete your client form, which can be done via email or post or over the telephone.

Pre-Appointment Preparation

There is no need to do any preparation before your appointment. Your Style Companion will do all the work! All that we ask is that you keep all of your clothes in the wardrobe as they are; but perhaps bring shoes and accessories in to the same room as your wardrobe, so that your style advisor can see everything you have to work with.

Some clients in the past have had a good clear out of their wardrobe before we arrive; and although this is absolutely fine, you may want your style advisor to check over everything before it heads to the charity shop, just to ensure you aren’t parting with something that could be revived!

If you have seen any particular outfits or pictures in magazines that you like, feel free to collect them in order to show to your stylist when she arrives. 

For personal shopping services, wear comfortable clothes that you can get in and out of easily; as you will be trying a lot of different outfits on! If you have had a wardrobe or style consultation beforehand, it is always worth asking your stylist if you should wear anything particular (as she will know the contents of your wardrobe).

Don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes either as you will be doing some walking. If you are looking to purchase something in particular on your shopping trip that you haven’t already discussed with your stylist, let her know in advance of your personal shop together.

Last but not least – bring an open mind and trust your Style Companion! They are there to work FOR you and WITH you and get you the results YOU want. Don’t be afraid to be honest and open about what you want to achieve and then trust their expertise – you won’t be disappointed.

Online Personal Shopper

Our online personal shopper service is intended to provide you with ideas and inspiration for outfits for special events and occasions. For £50 you will receive five outfit options by email. Before conducting online personal shopping, we require a full length photo of yourself by email along with a returned client profile form, which you will receive upon booking. My Style Companion can not conduct the online personal shopper service without the photo and client profile form that must be provided. 

Post Service Support

Depending on the service your personal stylist or shopper has provided, she may feel it appropriate to follow up your session with some further advice or style suggestions via phone or email. If you have any questions for your personal stylist, you may drop them a line by phone or email for some advice during her hours of work, where she will be happy to respond your query.

Gift Certificates Policy

Gift certificates may not be exchanged for cash in either full or part and are only redeemable in the geographical areas outlined unless confirmed in writing by My Style Companion. Gift certificates represent a particular My Style Companion service only and are non-exchangeable and non-transferable. Gift certificates can not be replaced if lost or stolen.

If you purchase a personal styling gift voucher and find it to be unsuitable for the recipient, we will be happy to refund you up to 28 days from the date of purchase, minus a £50 administration fee.

The recipient of the gift certificate can call or email us to book their appointment with us any time between Monday – Friday between the hours of 9am – 5pm. We recommend they book their appointment at the very least 2 weeks in advance to ensure we can accommodate them.

Bookings must be made before the expiry date stated on the gift certificate, which is 6 months after the purchase date unless otherwise stated.Gift certificates are only valid once payment has been received in full by My Style Companion. 

It is the responsibility of the bearer of the gift certificate to make an appointment with My Style Companion and therefore My Style Companion cannot be responsible for expired gift certificates.

Travel expenses for our stylists may be extra if the client (recipient of the gift voucher) is based outside of areas covered by our stylists. These are charged at 40p per mile return journey. The agreed amount is to be paid to the stylist on the day.  You can pay for the travel expenses yourself as part of the gift voucher - please inform us if you wish to do so at the time of booking by emailing us or calling us. We will make every endeavour to match you with a stylist based close to you if possible to keep travel expenses to a minimum.

If My Style Companion is unable to fulfil an order due to geographic location, a refund will be offered subject to our cancellation terms. Please call or email us if you are unsure about geographical location of services provided.

When ordering a gift certificate, please allow adequate time for processing and delivery by 1st Class post. It is highly unlikely we can provide gift certificates in less than 48 hours so please call us on 01625 508 264 or email info@mystylecompanion.com if you are unsure about delivery, and we’ll see if we can find a solution to your challenge!

Group Styling Services

My Style Companion Group Styling Services will take place between the hours of 9am and 9pm, Monday - Friday. Exceptions will be made for evening and weekend consultations at the stylists' discretion but may carry an additional fee.

We advise that any group bookings are made at least 30 days in advance to ensure that we can accommodate your requirements and make any appropriate arrangements.

Travel Expenses

Travel expenses for our stylists may be extra if the client is based outside of areas covered by our stylists. These are charged at 40p per mile return journey. The agreed amount is to be paid to the stylist on the day. My Style Companion Workshops and Events

Should you need to cancel your place at a My Style Companion event or workshop, you are entitled to a refund less a £25 admin fee up until 4 weeks in advance. Cancellation less than 2 weeks in advance incurs a £50 admin fee. Should you cancel less than 48 hours before a workshop or event, you may incur charges of up to 50% of the ticket price. You may pass your place on to a friend or colleague and in this case, no cancellation charges will be made.

My Style Companion reserves the right to cancel workshops or events one week before if we don't have minimum numbers. If My Style Companion are rescheduling the event or workshop, your place will automatically be reserved at the new date and venue. Should you not be able to attend the new date and/or venue proposed, or should we cancel the event entirely, a full refund will be given or the amount can be transferred to another service with My Style Companion.

Locations of Services

East Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, Wirral are all covered by My Style Companion however we can offer appointments in Liverpool, Chester, North Wales, Lancashire, Derbyshire and other areas within the UK on request, sometimes at an additional cost for travel expenses.

Exchanges

Exchanges on any products or services are at My Style Companion’s discretion.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be given if a particular service cannot be carried out by My Style Companion due to the location of the client, however an administration of £10 may apply, therefore please check we can conduct services in your area before making any purchases. 
Refunds cannot be made once the service has commenced or has been completed. Refunds are also NOT AVAILABLE on any eProducts available to buy through our online shop such as eBooks or course materials.

Cancellations of any appointments, bookings or purchases are entitled to a refund; however please see information on Cancellation Charges as these may apply.
We reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time.
