"Wardrobe consultations and personal styling are definitely niches that are usually veiled in mystery, a burning question of 'How do I get to do THAT job?', was exactly what was circling around my head. Even with the know-how experience and design training I have gained in 10 years, I still felt like some guidance and advice on how to provide a professional service within a 'tried and tested' structure and method, was essential. I researched online, and found Nicola. Her natural work ethic of honesty and transparency is apparent on her website, and it was for this reason I decided to enquire with My Style Companion about going forward with some training after emailing back and forth with a few questions over a few weeks.

On the day, I woke up feeling really positive about the training and what I would gain from the day. I wasn't disappointed. Nicola had emailed prior to the day, asking about key points we specifically wanted to touch base on, to make sure she addressed these topics on the day. The course covered everything from different body shapes, how to gain a client base without too much capital expenditure, do's and don'ts, assessing your client, what the clients specifically require of you, how to structure appointments and how to asses what kind of service your client actually needs, tips of where to shop for specific body shapes... There was SO much information and all of it was provided within a neat training pack in which to add our own notes alongside on the day.
