I am rather excited about the ever-nearing launch of Alice Temperley’s collection for John Lewis after speaking with some of the girls over at John Lewis Trafford Centre and Cheadle after doing recent personal shopping appointments there.
The 60 piece collection called ‘Somerset’, aptly named after Temperley’s home country is due to arrive in-store on the 4th September and is very much geared towards the Temperley Woman with its leopard-print knits and boho dresses contrasted with Victoriana blouses and military jackets. Feminine power at its’ finest.
With pony skin slippers, snakeskin belts, studded nappa leather handbags and animal print scarves, not to mention trademark beaded Indian evening gowns there is something for everything with prices starting at £29 for a scarf to £99 for a day dress, and ranging up to £1000 for a luxurious sheepskin jacket.
With an impressive list of A-List fans including Milla Jovovich, Lily Cole, Emma Watson, , Eva Mendes, Demi Moore and many others, it’s not surprising that the brand has become synonymous with timeless red carpet glamour.
To date one of the most photographed Temperley gowns came when the brand designed the emerald green gown for Pippa Middleton, sister to Kate Middleton, to wear for the Royal Wedding reception, so you’ll be in good company if you snap up one of these coveted pieces!
