Fashion loving females from all over Cheshire; donned their Dior; grabbed their Gucci’s and slipped in to their Choos and gathered together at the Odeon Cinema in Printworks, Manchester to indulge in an evening filled with fun, fashion and female indulgence at a pre-release, private screening of Sex and the City 2, two days before the films official release.

Nicola Cupples, Owner of My Style Companion and Kirsty Doyle, Luxury Womenswear designer were responsible for the event, which was organised in aid of Claire House children’s hospice, who offer respite, palliative and end of life care to over 500 children at no cost to their families.

While the cocktails flowed; guests oohed and aahed at the stunning designs of Kirsty Doyle in a private fashion show. The fashion show was beautifully accessorised by Benna.co.uk who has a concession in the Kirsty Doyle Concept Store in Liverpool One; whilst Nicola Cupples, the North West's Style Guru talked with the fashion-conscious audience about how to put your style stamp in to any outfit.

The event was organised to raise funds for Claire House but Nicola and Kirsty wanted to do something different than the usual fundraisers that they usually attend. Nicola Cupples said “Women are so very busy day to day with job, family, careers, home etc that it’s often hard for them to justify to themselves a bit of quality time with the girls, so we decided to give them the perfect excuse AND raise money for Claire House at the same time! Everybody wins! We were overwhelmed with the amount of support we received not only from our guests on the evening, but from local businesses that donated some amazing luxury raffle prizes and have been so generous with their time and support.”

Raffle tickets on the night completely sold out within an hour of the event thanks to the covetable list of prizes up for grabs including; 5* Holiday to Morocco from Fusion Escapes; Designer Sunglasses from Vivienne Westwood; Commes de Garcon Wallet from Hervia Bazaar Boutique; a £400 Spa Day from Inner Sanctuary and a VIP hair appointment at Andrew Collinge in Selfridge as well as kimono from Kirsty’s Kiki line and luxury personal shopping services with Nicola.

Guests went home after watching the four famous fashionistas in the film phenomena that was SATC2 with lots of girly treats in their goody bags including vouchers to the value of £75 and fantastic make up packs courtesy of Makki Make Up after a night of sipping cosmopolitans and helping themselves to a colourful, never-ending display of retro sweets at the Pick ‘n’ Mix buffet.

Nicola Cupples said “The thing that I love about Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte is that they’re not afraid of a bit of indulgence, whether it’s shoes, sex or even just meeting up with the girls on a Sunday morning to catch up on the gossip and I think that’s important for every woman. We just wanted to create an event which would bring out the Carrie in everyone and judging by the efforts made by all of our stunning, stylish and glamorous guests, I think we did just that!”
