Red carpet events are more about the celebrity who wore "that dress" and there have been many occasions when "that outfit" has made a Z-Lister into an A-Lister over night. Think Liz Hurley the little known model at the premiere of "Four Weddings" in that safety pin dress. Celebrities recognise the importance of image and understand that to get noticed, it's not just what you wear, but the way you wear it!

Flaunt Your Assets!
So what's the difference between you and the celebrities of the world you admire? How do they achieve such individual and desirable style? The simple answer is they know themselves. They have been surrounded by people who have told them to flaunt their uniqueness and have learned what their "assets" are, and how to utilise them.

Whether it's plus size (Beth Ditto, Dawn French), large breasts (Barbara Windsor) a sporty physique (Hilary Swank), a petit frame (Kylie), red hair (Cynthia Nixon), unusual facial features (Uma Thurman), celebrities all use these features in a positive way were as the everyday man or woman would view the exact same features on themselves as negative. What is the difference between what you consider to be your large bum and J-Lo's bootylicious derriere? The difference is she embraces her large booty where as you try to hide yours. It's that simple!

We are forever wishing that Mother Nature had blessed us with a lot different than our own, but even though we can't change Mother Nature, we can learn to accept, and even love her by beginning to accentuate our positives and disguise our negatives. This in turn focuses other people's attentions on our assets, and we will automatically get a better reception from them and start to feel more confident.

What Came First, Chicken or Egg? Confidence or Looking Good?
It is true that confidence comes from within and this is what makes us attractive to others, however confidence within can often be a result of looking good on the outside. That's why in Britain today people spend hundreds and thousands of pounds on looking good by using plastic surgery, cosmetics, gyms, personal trainers, beauticians and hairdressers. These specialists can make your skin, body and hair look better, but what about your clothes?

Surely your clothes say more about you than any other aspect of your image? After all, how often do people look closely at your skin or see you naked each day compared to the amount of people who notice your clothing? However most people resort to diets, plastic surgery and gyms as they feel like their clothes would look better if they were a different size or shape. It has often never crossed their mind that they might actually just be wearing the wrong clothing!!

By dressing in a more flattering way to suit YOU, you can start to accept your individual curves and in time, begin to embrace and celebrate them. So start today by calling Nicola Cupples, Image Consultant and Stylist to see how you can use your image to radiate confidence and beauty.
