You’ll always only look as good as you feel!
It doesn’t matter if you’re a size 10 or 20, whether your 30 years old or 60 years old. You’ll only ever look as good as you feel so start feeling good about the way you look!
Know your body
Understand how clothes need to work for you body by learning what styles, shapes, lengths and fabrics to go for.
Play to your Strengths
Like anything in life, you should play to your strengths and learn to manage your weaknesses. This goes for your image as well. Look to the things you like about your appearance and try to come up with new and creative ways of highlighting those aspects of your image rather than putting all your time and energy into moaning about your bingo wings.
Don’t Save Best for Best
Why do people save their best clothes for best? I want to feel my best every day, so I never save clothes for that special occasion that never comes! I get my use out of them every day. Not only do I look better but I feel like it adds a little bit of luxury and extravagance to an otherwise usual day at the office!
Sex appeal comes from confidence
All attractive women have one thing in common and it’s no accident. It’s confidence! Bet Ditto, Dita Von Teese, Pamela Anderson, Kylie, Helen Mirren, Julianne Moor and Judy Dench all have got sex appeal no matter of their age, shape, size, hair or skin colour. They have grown comfortable with who they are and make the most of what they have. That's the secret to sex appeal.
Comfort brings Confidence
You have to feel comfortable to exude confidence so always make sure your outfit feels good on and also, ensure you have test driven it before-hand to limit potential fashion faux pas. For example if you know you sweat under pressure and are wearing a silk blouse to a high powered meeting, wear some dress shields to prevent being distracted by this. If you are going to bending over a lot and don’t want to flash your new bra to everyone, use lingerie tape to stick any loose necklines to the skin. Things like this will just make sure that you feel safe in your skin and allow you to perform at your best without potential wardrobe malfuntcions.
Be Grateful and Appreciate Your Wardrobe
I come across so many unloved wardrobes stuffed full with clothes, shoes and accessories that are tired, scuffed, stained and crammed on wire hangers and I hate to see clothes being mistreated like this. At the end of the day, there are people all over the world who would cherish every single item in that wardrobe of yours if they had the chance so we should be more grateful for the things we have and lead by example. Not only that, but looking after your wardrobe will ensure longevity for all your items and prevent you from having to go shopping in search of replacements.
Put your shoes in boxes and polish regularly. Use proper non-slip hangers for your tops to prevent them sliding on to the floor and help them to retain their shape. Use acid free tissue paper to store away out of season clothing in storage boxes which will not only save you space and clutter but also make you feel like you have a whole new wardrobe when the seasons change again.
Always Accessorise!
Accessories can transform clothes in to unique outfits so I tend to spend more on accessories than anything else. I also think they add so much character to your look and you have so much fun with them!
Never buy an entire outfit from one shop!
Women who buy entire outfits from one shop often look too contrived and old fashioned. For me, this lacks imagination and creativity which is what style and fashion should all be about. Plus there’s always that chance that someone else has the exact same outfit on as you! The shame!
